1、Auto-Fallback

The rate of data transmission should be set depending on the speed of your wireless network. You can select from a range of transmission speeds, or keep the default setting, Auto, to have the Router automatically use the fastest possible data rate and enable the Auto-Fallback feature. Auto-Fallback will negotiate the best possible connection speed between the Router and a wireless client.

2、CTS Protection Mode

cts protection mode：除非802.11g设备无法传输数据到路由器，这一栏应该保持“disable”，这个功能增加路由器捕捉802.11b和802.11g传输的能力，但是会显著的降低性能，就是允许无线路由器降级运行。

3、Beacon Interval

The default value is 100. Enter a value between 20 and 1,000 milliseconds. The Beacon Interval value indicates the frequency interval of the beacon. A beacon is a packet broadcast by the Router to synchronize the wireless network.

4、DTIM Interval

The default value is 1. This value, between 1 and 255 milliseconds, indicates the interval of the Delivery Traffic Indication Message (DTIM). A DTIM field is a countdown field informing clients of the next window for listening to broadcast and multicast messages. When the Router has buffered broadcast or multicast messages for associated clients, it sends the next DTIM with a DTIM Interval value.  Its clients hear the beacons and awaken to receive the broadcast and multicast messages.即通知客户端接受广播和多播包的数据包的间隔。

5、fragmentation threshold

这个值表示最大封包大小。如果您遇到比较高的封包错误率，您可以稍微增大这个值。这个值太小会引起网络性能降低。在大多数场合，请保持缺省值2346。

6、RTS Threshold

This value should remain at its default setting of 2347. The range is 0-2347 bytes.

Should you encounter inconsistent data flow（不连续数据流）, only minor modifications are recommended. If a network packet is smaller than the preset RTS threshold size, the RTS/CTS mechanism will not be enabled（如果一个网络数据包小于设置的RTS Threshold值，RTS/CTS机制不会生效）. The Router sends Request to Send (RTS) frames to a particular receiving station and negotiates the sending of a data frame. After receiving an RTS, the wireless station responds with a Clear to Send (CTS) frame to acknowledge the right to begin transmission.RTS/CTS机制用于协调Wireless Router和客户端之间数据传输。

7、AP Isolation

Creates a separate virtual network for your wireless network. When this feature is enabled, each of your wireless client will be in its own virtual network and will not be able to communicate with each other. You may want to utilize this feature if you have many guests that frequent your wireless network.一个无线AP下的客户端互相隔离。
